You have read an article in a newspaper that contains incorrect information about your town/city. Write a letter to the editor of the newspaper to inform them about the mistake. In your letter - Describe your knowledge of the city. - Explain what information was incorrect in your opinion. - Suggest how the editor could fix this error. Dear Sir/Madam, I am writing this letter to inform you about some inaccurate information that I read in your article in yesterday's Times. I was extremely thrilled to read a front-page article about some features rather than political ones of my home land. However, after/upon finishing it I became deeply disappointment disappointed since it contains some biased and incorrect data that bear no relation to reality. To start with, the article starts with some geographical information about the country. On in that paragraph, you mentioned that all of the countries' areas are arid ones and with all due respect I should disagree with you. My country contains various regions ranging from desserts to dense forests. I attached a map demonstrating mountainous and green areas as well as desserts to this mail for your consideration. Moreover, I found the part about female roles in society unfair since they have struggled to overcome stumbling blocks to alter their role from the stereotypes that you mentioned. You can search for the number of female graduates and entrepreneurs on the internet in order to judge more properly. I opine that your article could internationally broadcast this wrong data since your newspaper is a reputable and popular one. I suggest writing a corrected piece and also editing the online version. Looking forward to reading your revised feature. Faithfully yours, Nasrin Shamlou
